Shipping Policy for Fireline Fuel
Last Updated: April 6, 2026
This Shipping Policy describes how Fireline Fuel processes and ships orders.
Fireline Fuel currently ships primarily to commercial customers and bulk buyers, including line lunch caterers and other business purchasers. We may add direct-to-consumer shipping in the future and update this policy as needed.
1. Order Processing
Orders are processed only after payment is received in full, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Processing times may vary depending on order size, inventory availability, packaging lead times, production scheduling, and carrier capacity.
Any shipping or delivery dates provided by Fireline Fuel are good-faith estimates only and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement signed by Fireline Fuel.
2. Bulk and Commercial Orders
For bulk, wholesale, or commercial orders, shipping timelines, freight method, pallet configuration, minimum order quantities, and delivery terms may be set out in your invoice, quote, purchase order, or separate written agreement. In the event of any conflict, the specific written agreement for that order will control over this website policy.
Commercial customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping details, receiving access, delivery windows, and any special unloading instructions.
3. Shipping Methods
Fireline Fuel may use parcel carriers, LTL freight carriers, palletized freight, or other shipping methods at its discretion unless a specific method is agreed in writing.
We reserve the right to consolidate, split, or stage shipments when operationally necessary.
4. Shipping Charges
Shipping charges are calculated separately unless otherwise stated in writing.
The customer is responsible for all shipping, freight, handling, accessorial charges, address correction fees, redelivery fees, liftgate charges, residential surcharges, storage charges, and other carrier-imposed fees unless expressly included in the order price.
5. Delivery Estimates; Delays
Delivery dates are estimates only. Fireline Fuel is not liable for delays caused by carriers, weather, supply-chain disruption, labor shortages, force majeure events, incorrect address information, customer unavailability, government action, or events outside our reasonable control.
If we determine that an order cannot ship within the timeframe stated at checkout, in our quote, or otherwise promised, we may contact the customer regarding revised timing and available options, including cancellation for unshipped goods where required by law.
6. Title and Risk of Loss
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, title and risk of loss pass to the customer when Fireline Fuel delivers the goods to the carrier for shipment.
The customer is responsible for filing any loss or damage claims with the carrier after that point, except to the extent applicable law requires otherwise.
If you want a more buyer-friendly policy for certain accounts, use a separate written agreement instead of changing this website language for everyone.
7. Inspection on Delivery
Customers must inspect all shipments immediately upon delivery.
Any visible loss, shortage, damage, or tampering must be noted on the carrier’s delivery receipt at the time of delivery.
Any claim for shortage, damage, mis-shipment, or nonconforming goods must be submitted in writing to Fireline Fuel at [insert email] within 5 business days of delivery, with supporting photos, lot information, and shipment documentation. Failure to do so may be deemed acceptance of the shipment to the fullest extent permitted by law.
8. Address Accuracy
Customers are solely responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping information. Fireline Fuel is not responsible for delays, losses, or added charges resulting from incorrect addresses, incomplete delivery instructions, refused delivery, or failure to receive the shipment.
9. Food Product Handling
Because Fireline Fuel products are food items, customers are responsible for promptly inspecting and properly storing product upon delivery in accordance with product labeling and reasonable food-handling practices.
We reserve the right to decline responsibility for product quality issues caused by improper storage, delayed receipt, mishandling after delivery, or conditions outside our control during or after final delivery. FDA food transportation rules require sanitary transportation practices, but the receiver also has responsibilities once product is delivered.
10. Returns, Refusals, and Non-Returnable Goods
Due to the nature of food products, all sales are final unless: the wrong product was shipped by Fireline Fuel, or the product is proven to have arrived materially damaged or defective.
Opened product, partially used product, product with broken seals after delivery, or product stored improperly is not eligible for return or refund.
Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.
11. International Shipping
Fireline Fuel does not currently offer international shipping unless specifically approved in writing.
12. Direct-to-Consumer Orders
If Fireline Fuel begins offering direct-to-consumer sales, this policy will apply unless a separate consumer shipping policy is posted for those orders. Consumer promotions, free-shipping thresholds, and parcel delivery terms may differ from commercial freight terms.
13. Force Majeure
Fireline Fuel is not responsible for failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disaster, wildfire, flood, severe weather, war, terrorism, labor disruption, supply shortage, government order, transportation interruption, utility outage, or carrier disruption.
14. Policy Updates
We may update this Shipping Policy at any time by posting a revised version on this website. The version in effect at the time of purchase will generally apply to that order unless otherwise required by law.
